If you stayed at Williams Creek Cabins to ride, here's the best part: you don't have to trailer your rigs anywhere. We're connected via private trail directly to Rush Off-Road on the Three Pole side — the same iconic Three Pole climb that Rush is famous for. Your off-road adventure starts the moment you pull up to your cabin door.
Ride From Your Doorstep
Williams Creek Cabins sits adjacent to the 7,000-acre Rush Off-Road park, and our private trail connection on the Three Pole side means your group can saddle up your ATVs, UTVs, or dirt bikes and ride directly into the Rush trail system without ever loading up a trailer. For groups who come here specifically to ride Rush, this is the difference between a good trip and a great one — more time in the saddle, less time in a truck.
We're actually the only peak with the three transmission towers visible from the top of Rush Off-Road's famous Three Pole climb. That bald top provides unobstructed views of the Rush Off-Road park to the east and spectacular sunset views to the west — and it's accessible right from our property.
About Rush Off-Road
Rush Off-Road is a privately owned, publicly accessible trail park spread across 7,000+ acres of rugged northeast Kentucky hillside, with over 100 miles of trails winding through it. Whether you're bringing a 4x4, ATV, UTV, or dirt bike, there is terrain here designed for your skill level. Beginner-friendly scenic trails? Check. Expert-level rock crawls and technical climbs that'll have you gripping the wheel? Double check. The park is open every single day of the year — rain, snow, mud, sun — so no matter when you're visiting us, Rush is ready for you.
Permits & Hours
A permit is required to ride at Rush Off-Road and can be purchased online or at the park office. Permits are sold per vehicle and each permit covers up to two vehicles, though only one vehicle per permit is allowed in the park at a time. Day permits, weekly passes, and annual season passes (valid January 1 through December 31) are all available. Primitive camping at the trailhead is included with your permit — so you can park it close to the action.
Trail Riding Hours (Mon–Thu): 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Trail Riding Hours (Fri–Sun): 6:00 AM – Midnight
Office Hours (Thu–Sun): 8 AM – varies by day; Mon–Wed closed
Events & Competitions
Rush Off-Road hosts some seriously fun events throughout the year, including their annual Anniversary Bash, Rush and Rowdy (a multi-day music and riding festival), and the September Slam featuring the Premier Mega Truck Series. Events often include hill climbing and mud hole competitions with cash prizes. Check their website for the latest lineup and to snag tickets early — these events draw a crowd!
